Day tour to Bhaktapur and Patan from Kathmandu.
Start the day with 1h drive to reach Durbar square in Bhaktapur, the smallest city of Nepal. Full of ancient medieval arts, architecture, history and culture, you will visit all the major highlights of this city. After visiting the center, we will visit the pottery section to see the traditional way of making potteries.
Next, we will visit the city of Patan, one of the largest cities in Nepal and also known as the city of fine arts, as it has many ancient places, temples, and shrines, along with their exquisite cravings giving us and detailed insights about the history of Nepal and truly amazing art and architecture skills of Nepalese people. In Patan’s Durbar square we visit Krishna Mandir, Patan museum, and many other monuments and important landmarks, for a complete experience in Nepal. After a long day, we head back to the hotel.

Pick-up and drop-off from your location in Kathmandu. In Bhaktapur the tour gives us the opportunity of explore the ancient city, by visiting Nyatapola temple a five-storied 30m high temple and one of the tallest temples in the entire country, triple roofed Bhairabnath temple of Taumadh, potters square the focal point of Bhaktapur artistic industry. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is full of monuments, temples, statues, shrines. Those are some of the major attractions of the Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
The antiquated Royal Palace of Patan represents fine architecture, temples, paintings, courtyards that were built in medieval Nepal. Patan Durbar square is a historical center that presents skilful art, architecture, and engineering of the valley along with iron, metal, and woods works. Walking further into the Durbar square you come across Taleju temple, Chowks, Bhimsen temple, Taleju bell, Krishna Mandir built by King Siddhinarsingh Malla in 1637.
