The most famous ghost in Rome is Beatrice Cenci, a young Roman noblewoman of the late Renaissance period. Some swear to have seen her walking back and forth along the bridge leading to Castel Sant’Angelo. 

Mysterious ghosts seem to be also wandering around Piazza Navona, Piazza di Campo de’ Fiori and Piazza Farnese.
