Day 1 Fez – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga Deser – Luxury Tent
Your driver picks you up at 8:00 a.m. Leave Fez and go to Merzouga through the Middle Atlas Mountains, the cedar forests of Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco), Azrou, Midelt and cross the Ziz Valley and its gorges towards Sahara Desert. We’ll be in Merzouga before the sunset. We will rest and enjoy a cup of tea and continue our trip by camels in the middle of Erg Chebbi desert. You will enjoy the beauty of the sunset on the dunes, and reach the desert camp right on time to spend the night here in a luxury tent. Taste a delicious dinner with camp fire and drums. Luxury tent with private bathroom.
Day 2 Merzouga Desert – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
In the morning you wake up to enjoy the incredible sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga. You will enjoy breakfast and continue the trip. Returning to the road, you will pass through the Palmeral of Tafilalet and the town of Rissani and reach the town of Alnif. Then you will cross the spectacular Anti-Atlas mountains to see the Berber villages of Tazarine and N’kob. You will visit the Draa Valley and its enormous expanse of date palms. After crossing the mountains via the Tizi n’Tinififft pass, you will arrive to Ouarzazate where you will stop for lunch. Stop at the famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou for a quick visit (depending on the season), then continue to Marrakech, where we will arrive around 7 p.m. Our tour ends here.
